At Mission Control LLC, we’re serious about minimizing our environmental impact while creating world-class content. Sustainability isn’t a trend for us — it’s part of how we work. Here’s how we keep our shoots green:
Our Green Pledge
We measure the carbon footprint of every project and cut emissions at the source. That means using local crews, reducing travel, combining shipments, and choosing cleaner transport (think EVs and trains). When flying’s unavoidable, we offset emissions through trusted carbon credits — aiming for carbon-neutral shoots.
We use efficient gear and prioritize renewable energy. LEDs, low-power electronics, solar batteries, and no-idling rules are standard. Whenever possible, we tap into green power sources to fuel production.
No single-use plastics. No foam containers. Everyone gets a reusable bottle, and we provide water stations, recycling bins, and compost options. Catering focuses on sustainable menus and compostable serveware. We donate leftover food and recycle or repurpose materials at wrap.
We build smarter. Sets, props, and wardrobe are reused or rented when we can. When building new, we go for certified or reclaimed materials, low-tox products, and design everything for easy disassembly and reuse. We donate what we can after the shoot.
We run things paperless: call sheets, scripts, approvals — all digital. If we absolutely must print, it’s double-sided and on recycled paper.
We cut down water use wherever we shoot. No single-use bottles. Catering uses water-efficient practices. In nature, we avoid polluting runoff and use biodegradable cleaning supplies.
We brief every team on our green standards from day one. We appoint an on-set sustainability lead when needed, and we only partner with vendors who align with our values.
We set goals for reducing waste and emissions, and we track our results. After each project, we review what worked and what didn’t, and we adapt. We’re happy to provide Green Production Reports on request to keep things transparent and accountable.

Caveat
We take this commitment seriously and aim to uphold it across all our productions. That said, the nature of our work — often fast-moving, remote, or unpredictable — can sometimes pose challenges. This policy serves as a north star, not a rigid checklist, and we apply it thoughtfully and to the fullest extent that circumstances allow.
